As a life long Nikon shooter, my first Canon purchase has left me feeling like I did not get a whole lot for my money. Even the Canon sticker on the front seemed to be slightly suspect. The nice gentleman with questionable English language skills assured me on the phone that this was an authentic “Canon 7d and 500mm F4L lens”. They don’t seem to be returning my phone calls…

Sheep grazing on grass at “The Amish Farm And House” a local attraction in Lancaster County, PA where tourists can go to witness farm animals and farm life in the traditional Amish way.

This is the primary reason I bought that Sigma 10-20mm super wide angle. Giant freaking cow heads ! WooHoo !

I took this at a farm adjacent to a covered bridge I was shooting in Lancaster County, PA on Sunday. There were six cows in a small herd and when I approached the all stepped backwards and gave me a leery eye. Then this cow stepped forward and came right up to the fence, sensing I was no threat and proceeded to spend some quality time with me. I think she was the official “spokescow” for the group.

I wonder if Billy Mays sells anything that will get Cow snot off a Sigma lens ? LOL
