I stumbled upon this Mail Pouch Tobacco Barn while driving east on Route 54 through the tiny town of Torbotville (population 691) in Northumberland County on Saturday. It’s not on any of the official Mail Pouch Tobacco Barn lists and there is only one other official MP barn listed in Northumberland County. I think it may have been something the farmer did on his own to spruce up his farm as he also had several different signs and old farm implements displayed along side the road in a decorative manner. The farmer seemed to have both a sense of farming history and a sense of humor.

I shot this as seven bracketed RAW frames at .7 stop increments and then combined them into an HDR with Photomatix Pro and finally, tone mapped that image.
