Located on the Northwest corner of Byerland Road and Township Road 492 in Pequea, Pennsylvania you will see what looks to be a little log cabin. This is actually Byerland Mennonite Meeting House. the oldest known Mennonite meeting house still standing in the United States. It was built by Jacob Boehm, between 1747 and 1755, when Jacob was ordained Deacon of the Byerland Mennonite Congregation.
I had previously posted a shot of this meeting house I took back in May. The shot above was taken 9-6-2009 and created from seven bracketed raw exposures at 1/3rd stop increments and combined into an HDR and tone mapped in Photomatix Pro.
