I was keeping my eyes out for old, unpainted wood barns which are sort of the traditional type of barn found in this area of the country and I found this one along route 60 in Crawley, West Virginia. This one jumped out at me because of its placement on the hillside and the nice fall foliage on the hilltop behind it. I could have done without the telephone wires but you can’t have everything in life because hey, where would you put it all ?
I shot this as seven hand-held exposure bracketed RAW frames at 1/3 stop variance, then combined into an HDR and tone mapped in Photomatix Pro with Topaz Adjust applied to bring out some of the wood tones on the barn.
