Great Blue Heron comes in for a landing on the rocks along the shore. The GBHs have been very aggressive this year along the river. The usual territorial disputes between GBHs have been joined this season by outright attacks on unsuspecting perched Eagles by the Great Blues. I think once we have more Eagles migrate down over the coming weeks and months, this behavior will be bought into check.
