Wow, what a change in light and sky quality from Saturday. It’s nice when the weather folks are correct and you get 100% sun in which to photograph Bald Eagles. Taken on Saturday 9-5-2009 during the noon hour over the Susquehanna River in Maryland. An adult Bald Eagle soars over our location. It was slow most the of the day. We saw dozens of Eagles but none of them seem to want to fish near us until very late in the afternoon and by then the light was fading. We were lucky to get a few good fly bys during the day.
It was great to catch up with photography friends from last year’s Eagle season. When you can all come together under great conditions with one common purpose, it does your spirits a world of good.
