After a full day at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Delaware, I decided to head over to my favorite spot for Bald Eagle photography along the Susquehanna River in Maryland and see how the resident Eagles were doing. In the 5:00 hour alone, I witnessed eight adults and five juvenile Bald Eagles yanking fish out of the river. I definitely need more practice for the upcoming migration season. None of my fishing shots were salvageable but I did manage to land this flight shot of one of the adults shortly after I arrived.
