The meeting of two golden ages of aviation. A World War II vintage fighter plane sits in front of The Hot Air Balloon "Sunset Landing" piloted by Tim Strand.
Hot air balloons and giant shredded wheat. Breakfast of champions ! When the balloons made a sudden change of course during the early morning ascension and headed northward over the farm fields, it gave me the opportunity to incorporate some farm flair into the composition.
I’m sure there is a proper agricultural term for these giant rolled up hay circles but they have always reminded me of giant shredded wheat.
