This is very large barn near the town of New Ringgold, Pennsylvania on the corner of Lizard Creek Road and Route 309. The crossroads area where it sits is actually labeled “Snyder’s” but it is such a small community that no census data was found for it. In the 2000 year census, New Ringgold had a grand total of 291 people living there. New Ringgold is one of the tiny towns that are visible from the North Lookout at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary’s North Lookout and it is often pointed out by sanctuary guides when they try and familiarize visitors with landmarks that can be seen down in the valley floor. This barn was in remarkable shape and seems to be very well maintained.
I shot this as seven bracketed RAW frames then combined them into an HDR and tone mapped them in Photomatix Pro.
