While out shooting covered bridges in Columbia County Pennsylvania on Saturday 5-16-2009, I stumbled across this miniature covered bridge at the access road to a Christmas tree farm at the top of a hill. It was about 1/3rd mile away from a full size covered bridge that looks very much like this smaller cousin.
It really made my day to think that the farmer would have gone to the trouble to bring an important part of Columbia County tradition onto his farm and make it the entrance way to his property. It was a very nice touch.
I shot this as five RAW bracketed frames then converted it to an HDR (High Dynamic Range) image using Photomatix Pro.
