Cuteness alert ! Mallard Hen with five of her nine new ducklings out for their first swim at the Fleetwood Park pond on 4-29-2009. The ducklings were already quite familiar with where to get the best pond plants for dinner.
I can’t wait to see what the other hens have hatching. On a sad note, we also lost a Mallard hen to what looked like a dog attack. Life comes and life goes it’s what you do in between that matters.
