Male Mallard flying back into the pond area at the Fleetwood Park on Friday afternoon 12-26-2008. You don’t always see them when they fly in but I noticed that the fly-ins are usually precipitated by a distinct series of calls from the Mallards already at the pond. If you hear those calls, it’s a sure bet that company is dropping by any second.
