Which way to the Penguin talk ? - National Aviary

African Penguin from the National Aviary in Pittsburgh, PA. I believe this one is “Stanley”. He was walking down the hall on his way to the 11:30 Penguin talk at the Aviary but he seemed to be taking his sweet time about it, choosing to stop and talk to the Bald Eagles along the way. These little guys are just too cute to describe. They are native to warm coastal areas in Angola, Mozambique, Namibia, and South Africa and eat Fish, Crustaceans and Squid.

I created this image on my second trip to the Aviary on Monday, 11-24-2008. I chose black and white for this one because Penguins are (drum roll please…) black and white !
